The Mountainsmith Day EVO Lumbar Pack is a rugged, versatile 13-liter waist pack designed for everything from everyday carry to demanding trail adventures. With a comfortable ergonomic fit, smart organization, durable materials, and adaptable compression, it’s ready for long days on the trail, hunting trips, early-morning hikes, and backcountry missions.

The Day EVO features a 28–48" adjustable waistbelt and Mountainsmith’s Delta Compression System to help stabilize your load and keep your gear comfortably in place. Multiple zippered compartments, an interior divider, reinforced bottle pockets, and a modular MOLLE-compatible accessory pocket make it easy to organize the gear you need close at hand.

For added visibility in low-light conditions, the removable front compression panel reverses to blaze orange. The high-visibility orange interior also makes it easier to find smaller gear inside the main compartment.

Need to carry a heavier load? Add the Strapette EVO shoulder harness (sold separately) to convert the Day EVO into a more supportive backpack-style carry. Mountainsmith recommends the shoulder harness for loads over 8 pounds. The PALS-compatible waistbelt also allows you to expand your setup with accessories such as The Roo pouch.

Made with durable 500D nylon Cordura® or 500D nylon Mil-DTL-32439 Type 3 Class 3, depending on color, the Day EVO is designed for hard use. YKK® zippers, EVA foam, and a high-density poly liner round out a construction focused on durability and reliable performance. Mountainsmith states that there are no intentionally added PFAS in the item.
